Dr. Steven Golla is the founder and area director of all four Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic locations. He serves on the Executive Board of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and is the past Chairman of the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Jennifer Goodwin grew up in North Texas near Fort Worth, where she developed her passion for all animals early-on. In 2003 she and her family moved to New Braunfels, where she attended Canyon High School. In 2008 she studied Microbiology at Texas State University (go Bobcats!). During her 3 years at Texas State, she joined the CTVC team working part-time as a veterinary technician assistant. She gained early acceptance into Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine to pursue becoming a mixed animal practitioner. She graduated in May 2015 and returned home to New Braunfels where she is thrilled to be a part of the CTVC team! Jennifer has a three-legged cat named Kitty. Some of the things Jennifer likes to do outside of work are spending time outdoors kayaking the rivers and cooking new things at home. Jennifer also loves to garden with her mom and go fishing with her dad. She is glad to be back in New Braunfels and wants to better serve all the great people in her community.
Dr. Garrett Montgomery grew up in Corpus Christi, where he developed his passion for veterinary medicine working at Windsor Park Animal Hospital during high school and college. Upon graduation from high school, he moved to College Station to join the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University. Dr. Montgomery received his bachelor’s degree from A&M in animal science in 2006, and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from A&M in 2010. In 2012, he joined the team at Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic, where he enjoys practicing both small and large animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Montgomery is diligent and thorough, demonstrating a strong work ethic and taking great pride in his practice of veterinary medicine. He is dedicated to his career, traveling between all three clinic locations to provide excellent service to our clients. Dr. Montgomery currently resides between Lockhart and Luling with his wife, Amanda. He enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing in his time away from work.
Dr. Jasmine Sullivan was born and raised in Bay Minette, Alabama, where she developed a passion for veterinary medicine working at a mixed animal practice during high school and college. Dr. Sullivan received her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in 2012 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn in 2016. In time away from the clinic she enjoys spending time with her husband Dr. Patrick Sullivan riding horses, watching SEC football, and fishing. She is excited to be a part of the Chisholm Trail Veterinary Team and serving the community.
Dr. Patrick Sullivan, a native of the panhandle, was born in Plainview, Texas, and raised in Simpsonville, South Carolina, on his family’s cattle farm. He attended Auburn University’s College of Agriculture, graduating with honors in 2009 with a major in animal science and minor in agricultural leadership. In May 2013, he graduated Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Outside of veterinary school, he has spent time learning both small and large animal medicine practice with veterinarians in Colorado, Montana, and the panhandle of Texas. In time away from the clinic, Dr. Sullivan appreciates barbecuing, hunting, fishing, and team roping. He also enjoys playing the guitar with other musicians. Dr. Sullivan looks forward to opportunities to serve the surrounding communities, and he is excited to be a part of our team.
